Our Approach
Highly Customized. In the design and planning phase, we develop clear evaluation questions and measurement plans. We are flexible and creative so that the evaluation can both inform and respond to evolving interests.
Highly Engaged Partnerships. Evaluation processes are most useful when we work in partnership with programs and organizations, creating appropriate and meaningful opportunities for involvement.
Respect and Cultural Humility. Successful evaluation projects are only possible through a mutual regard for the intelligence, talents, and expertise that each of us possess. We are committed to cultural humility and sensitivity in our work and relationships.
Learning for Action. Information is only as valuable as it is timely and useful. We provide results promptly, and in accessible formats, with specific actionable recommendations based on the findings.
Services Offered
Theory of Change and Logic Model Development. A theory of change depicts how a set of programs or strategies align to achieve results, typically at the organizational or initiative level. Logic models for individual programs map activities and outputs with short- and long-term outcomes.
Formative and Summative Evaluation. Formative evaluation provides feedback for reflection to make mid-course adjustments. Summative evaluation tells the cumulative story of results.
Process and Implementation Evaluation. Process evaluation assesses progress on planned activities and outputs. Implementation evaluation assesses fidelity to a defined model or plan.
Outcomes and Impact Evaluation. Outcomes evaluation measures change experienced among the target populations or institutions. Impact evaluation involves the use of methods with sufficient rigor to attribute changes to a given intervention.
Client Satisfaction Assessments. LFA Group uses proven methods for assessing whether or not clients/consumers are satisfied with and would recommend services.
Building Evaluation Capacity. Whether it is over the natural course of an evaluation process, or in response to a specific request, LFA Group shares knowledge, tools, and other resources so that organizations have increased capacity for ongoing evaluation at the end of their engagement with us.
